Meet Barron! Barron aka Blue Barron aka BB is a huge cuddle bug/ couch potato. Despite his poor body condition at the shelter he has turned into a beautiful (and slightly chunky) boy. He is highly food motivated and should be very easy to train. Now that his health is improved has been doing some basic obedience training. He is fantastic with cats, he pretty much ignores them just not their food bowls. He doesn't seem to mind female dogs his size or smaller. Ideally a long introductory period would be best. He normally gets fed in his kennel by himself but has been known to stick his nose in someone's bowl without incident. I would recommend older children for him. He doesn't really appreciate someone in his face trying to give love. He LOVES squeaky toys and balls and is very playful when started. We are working through some issues of inappropriate chewing on things that are not his but all in all it is just on occasion and not too bad a problem.
